Happy 46th Birthday Singapore!
Singapore is a tiny winy mini little red dot on the global Globe. Its size seems so negligible, almost invisible and insignificant. However, Singapore has proven its utmost capabilities throughout these years, and I feel extremely proud to be a true Singaporean living within this tiny dot.
Our Pledge:
We, the citizens of Singapore,
pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language or religion,
to build a democratic society
based on justice and equality
so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and
progress for our nation.
YES, our pledge has always held true throughout the years ever since Singapore gained independence in 1965.
We are a small nation, but we are STRONG! 1. Just like our pledge, we attain peace and happiness living in total harmony with different race, language and religions like no other countries could possibly achieve. 2. Given the land size, we might appear to be more vulnerable. Unlike our ‘appearance’, Singapore actually possesses the safest living environment conditions for its citizens. 3. Our government is very strict on our laws and policies, but that makes us so strike-free, riot-free and war-free to accomplish the peace and prosperity we have of today. 4. What’s more? Given the location of Singapore on the globe and its limiting land, Singapore is disaster-free! We do not experience massive earthquakes, no volcano eruption or tsunami that could takes away so many lives! 5. Last but not least, just because we are small in land, we can easily travel around and explore Singapore within ONE day! With the 5 supporting evidences, it is more than sufficient to prove that Singapore is evidently unique, exquisitely special, and absolutely distinctive from any other countries. It is a country that never ever feels to make me proud. :)

Singapore is minute and small.. but undoubtedly, Singapore, as one united country, is sure MIGHTY! I am truly please and honour to be a true Singaporean living in Singapore! It is a blessing! Cheers to Singapore! Happy Birthday Singapore! =D
